"Trump approval ticks up despite GOP shutdown blame: Survey" The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, which closed Monday, shows 42 percent of Americans approve of Trump's performance in office, up 2 points from a survey conducted early this month. The president's approval rating last month was 42 percent in early September.
